2011 Call for Proposals

You are invited to submit a proposal for the 32nd Annual Sharing Conference of the Southern Regional Faculty and Instructional Development Consortium (SRFIDC). This year's conference will be hosted by Auburn University. This conference will continue to represent SRFIDC's legacy of sharing and self-renewal experiences by participants. PLEASE come prepared to share your ideas, teaching tips and faculty development workshops. We invite session proposals that focus on strategies, tools, pedagogies, or technologies related to this year's theme: Reflecting on the Past, Building for the Future. All sessions should include a strong and practical element of audience involvement. Concurrent sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes.

Proposals due by December 13 and will receive notification by December 18
 

if space in the agenda allows, late Proposals may be submitted by January 21 and will receive notification by January 28

Presentations should include an activity which engages the audience. For example, a 60-minute presentation might allow 20 minutes for topic introduction and background information, 20 minutes for an audience participation activity, and 20 minutes for summary and questions. Please describe the activity which you plan to use to engage the audience.
